Production 4.0 in Practice – The Industrial Exhibition at the 30th AWK
In addition to the plenary and expert lectures, leading German and European companies from industry and business presented their innovations on the topic of »Internet of Production – Turning Data into Sustainability« on an exhibition area of approx. 3,000 m² at AWK’21. The industrial exhibition not only offered an exclusive insight into the production of the future, but also allowed the participants to experience the unique networking character of the Aachen Machine Tool Colloquium: In an exchange with exhibitors who operate at the interface of production and IT, concrete solutions around Production 4.0 and promising product innovations were presented based on practical examples.
At the same time, the digital event platform brought the trade show experience of the live event home. True to the motto »Digital that feels (almost) like physical«, participants were able to get in touch with each other and with exhibitors, independently of time and place.
