Under the guiding theme “Empower Green Production”, AWK’23 showed in a hybrid event format both in the Aachen Eurogress and digitally on May 11 and 12, 2023, how new technologies and concepts for a more crisis-resistant and at the same time green production can look in the future.

What makes the AWK unique:

The lecture contents of AWK are developed by a selection of internationally renowned experts from industry and science in two expert meetings: High-ranking industry representatives from globally active companies formulate urgent research needs and contribute their experience in implementing existing solutions to the lectures. The Aachen production researchers moderate the process, structure the information and finally complement it with the know-how of their own institutions and the experience from numerous international research and development projects.

On both days of the event, we open our doors for you to visit our various machine halls, test facilities and laboratories. There is the opportunity to talk to our employees on site at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering WZL of RWTH Aachen University and at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT.
